The two have come together to create a selection of fun creative placemats. The initial collection features three classic DwellStudio patterns and designs for children on silky food-grade, hand silk-screened silicone placemats that won't crease or rip. Each placemat is presented in a "Kidz Box" complete with a set of 6, non-toxic dry-erase markers for drawing. The simple, clean design of the placemat provides optimal functionality with a minimalist aesthetic. With the goal of nurturing the inner artist in every child (and making mealtime entertaining), the mats are doodle-friendly with use of the washable dry erase markers. Promoting the idea to save paper/save trees, the placemat can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or rinse, allowing the child to color again and again.

Every silicone placemat offered by Modern-twist features a non-porous and germ-free surface, free of BPA, lead, latex, phthalates and other harsh chemicals. "Our products are for design-minded parents who are concerned about not only what their kids are eating but what they're eating on. This Kids Box concept was designed in a studio but it's something we came up with in my home," adds Modern-twist founder, Kat Nouri and mother of 3.
